United Kingdom (UK) Telecom Operators

With 800 mobile networks around 200 countries, there are lots of mobile networks which are known as largest mobile networks. Some of them are worldwide targeted but else locally in country. All country has different mobile networks and its competitors along with GSM frequency bands. Mot of common frequency bands are GSM 900 and GSM 1800.

America with their parts follow different bandwidth band with GSM 950 and GSM 1900. But UK is following Europe region which use to have GSM 900 and GSM 1800. UK has 80.375 million subscribers in total or penetration rate is 130.55%.

Everything/Everywhere (Orange/T-Mobile): Everything-Everywhere is joint venture by French Telecom (Orange) And Deutsche Telecom (T-mobile).joint ventures has 32.615million subscribers which has maximum number in UK.

O2 Network- With technology of GSM 900, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA, O2 has 21.704 million subscribers which are second from top. O2 is owned by Telefonica Company.

Vodafone: World’s largest revenue generator in telecom industry, Vodafone stands on third position from Top. It has one more extra technology HSPA+ followed by GSM 900, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA. Only in UK Vodafone has 19.714, owned by Vodafone.
